FULL DISCLAIMER: Ms.Katia is from Bulgaria and is shy about writing in English as she feels she is not too fluent in English. To write the testimonial, she and I did a video call, where I wrote down all that she wanted to write, all the points she wanted to include and then, I wrote it. Then, it was again sent back to her to review and see if she approves or disapproves. Since it was what she had said on the video AND what she herself had written in the messages (with full evidence), she approved it full heartedly. She then said that she would like to add more points on how I helped her find affordable, holistic items that she never knew about and that have helped her for her health and well-being and have also helped her entire family (elderly mother and her 2 cute dogs).
What follows is her testimonial -
I came across Somya when I came across her comment on dragon fruit article on some health site. I was interested in learning about cooking and Ayurveda at that time as I was having lots of health issues and so, after seeing her comment on the article, I contacted her via Facebook messenger. I wrote to her that I would be happy to learn from her about healthy cooking and Ayurvedic healing. This was on August 8th, 2018 and when she replied she told me that her site has just launched and to check it out. She also mentioned that this is what I teach people - all about healthy cooking and that there are already 28 recipes on the site and to check it out! She sent me her site link and I immediately checked it out and loved it. I subscribed to her newsletter right away.
As I contacted her more often on the Facebook, our conversations grew more towards my health problems. I was desperate for help and Somyata came right on time in my life. Doctors had failed me horribly and I was tired of the conventional medical system. I told her my long list of health issues starting from being a breast cancer survivor to now having severe inflammation and endless list of symptoms.
It was in 2006 when I was suddenly diagnosed with the worst kind of breast cancer - Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Stage 4. I still remember the day - it was my daughter's birthday. The doctors scared me to death and told me that I would have to go into surgery asap, followed by chemo and radiation. It was all so scary and mentally exhausting that it was hard to swallow it all at once. I was told by doctors that only few people with this type of cancer survive. I went into surgery and chemo and radiation just after 1 week of diagnosis! To make matters worse, I also had lymph nodes tested positive.
As a single mother I felt scared and didn't know if I had any other options. I simply went with what the doctors told me. They did full mastectomy, followed by 4 chemo rounds, radiation and this was the schedule for every 3 weeks, 8 hrs straight on those days, if I remember correctly everything. Two major surgeries, 4 or 5 total surgeries, 4 rounds of chemo before double mastectomy, then 4 additional rounds after. One of my surgeries was in San Francisco. My stomach was cut open; It was a very heavy surgery.
Anyways, they did radiation for 1 month straight which was killing my skin. After chemo and medicines and surgeries, my blood platelet count dropped so low that they had to stop. I was also put on Herceptin for 1 full year and Tamoxifen for 5 long years. After taking 5 years of pharma-drugs, I stopped the drug. I was OK for sometime.
Shortly afterwords, in 2013, my eczema started. It was so bad to begin with like burning of the skin but little did I think it would keep getting worse and worse. As it progressed, it got very bad. I was in pain all the time and my skin, the whole body felt like it was on fire. I felt dryness and as if all the time someone is pulling on my skin. It was horrible to live like this. By this time, my body was completely messed up from the surgeries, the drugs, the toxic chemo and radiation, that I was having new challenges and issues pop up everyday! On top of that, my eczema shots started Dupixent. It causes liver damage but doctor won't tell. I was on this 6 years for allergy shot.
My eczema was just one issue but I started having digestive issues like bloating, leaky gut, tightness and even weight gain. I was working night shift all this time and still do, which really affected my sleep, so I had chronic insomnia since decades by the time I met Somyata. I told her I have only slept for 3 to 4 hours every night since last 15 to 20 years. Before my cancer, I was working 3 jobs to make ends meet and had a very toxic divorce. On top of that, I have been taking care of my elderly mother who needs lot of help and support due to her being unable to walk at all. And I was raising a daughter all by myself.
When Somyata started coaching me, she asked lots of questions about my lifestyle, what I eat and what products I use. She then moved on to deeper issues like my past and learned about my divorce history which I shared for the first time with anyone. I felt good to get her support and finally open up. She also asked about me and my mom and her health challenges. She pointed out that I need to first lower my load and at same time, we need to change lot of things from my eating habits to products I use to my chronic insomnia.
She spent countless hours explaining me what grocery items I need to get and what other new health items I need to start a full, whole food plant based diet. Each week, through hours and hours of explaining me the basics, she moved me onto hope and more positive lifestyle. I started making her recipes daily and both I and my elderly mom enjoyed the health benefits. She started me on healthy fats which have helped lower my inflammation and improved my energy. For my eczema, she started me on natural skin care and told me about making my own butter at home - with shea butter and some other ingredients, which she told me the recipe. It helped a lot.
From learning how to cook the right way to using various foods to help my severe inflammation, Somyata came and helped me regularly and beyond words can say. I had no one in my life to help me and guide me and doctors are useless - I was getting no help or support from the medical field. My body was messed up very badly due to the medical system of drugs, injections, chemo, etc and even though, I still have some underlying inflammation and am still healing my gut from years of abuse, I am much better ow. My kitchen is now full of all the new items that Somyata has taught me about and that is what I use till now and forever.
Somyata also told me about the side-effects of drugs and allergy shots. After I started coaching with Somyata, she said not to get any more allergy shots and that is exactly what I did; I stopped the shots completely. Of course the clinic called many times as they were not happy with my decision but I refused and stopped picking up their phone calls!
I had severe leaky gut for which Somyata put me on herbs and guided me on my eating plan. I also had high sugar, fatty liver, weight gain, hair fall, dry skin, dry mouth and eyes, stuffed nose, runny eyes, insomnia, leg swelling, breathing issues, and inflammation. Somyata worked on each issue one by one and even though I still have eczema flair-ups, they are very less frequent and not as severe as before. My digestion has improved by about 60% but still I have to watch what I eat and everything in between.
Somyata worked on my sleep and started me on progesterone, along with some other sleep inducing habits like Nasya oil before bed, which I never knew and no amount of my research would have ever yield this. It helped me in my breathing and I no longer had dry nose or mouth. After going on progesterone, and improving my eating habits, I finally had a breakthrough and slept for full 9 hours under Somyata's coaching! I had deep restful sleep for first time in almost 20 years. I am beyond thankful to Somyata for this gift.
She also taught me how to pair which foods together for maximum nutrition and what else to add to my diet to prevent my cancer coming back. As another benefit, my mother's health issues have improved due to better food in our house and trust me, before Somya came into our lives, we were a sick household. In our home, we were taking medicines and one of the benefit of her coaching is that she will send you the exact links for items you need to substitute for toxic medicines and buy, so everything is provided for you in the coaching. The items she knows and sends for you to buy are effective and cheap. You don't have to do any research. I got the best items that are healthy and natural without any research or without ever knowing them. You really just have to cook delicious food and follow the plan. I tell her only someone who like McDonald's will not like her food! Her food is very tasty and everything comes out so good that we love it.
In between the coaching, my beloved dog died and I was beyond sad. Somyata guided me on a ritual and asked that me, my mom and my daughter to do a spiritual ritual and said it will help us all to feel better. She was there with me non-stop via FB messages to help through this grief. We all did the ritual as she had laid out and sure enough, we all felt much better and had much closure. On numerous occasions, she helped me with my dogs's health challenges and explained the benefits of plant based diet for my dogs and how to keep them naturally healthy.
Somyata has become like my family and I am beyond thankful how she came into my life and took the time to explain everything to me. Thank God I met her and it is clear she wants to help. She shows up and asks what can I do and gives positivity, support and encouragement to me and to others. She is the one to talk to.
She is my friend and she is just like my family. I 100% recommend her and pray for her success and hope that one day she can reach more people like us who need lots of help and had no one to help us and nowhere to seek good advice. I have told many of my coworkers and others about her site and how to reach her.
Thank you to Somyata. I know you will be successful and please do not give up and just keep going. We, people need you. God bless - Katia Seekins, LasVegas, Nevada
