I absolutely love black eyed peas and this recipe combines them with collard greens, a typical combo in Southern black-eyed peas. But as usual, I like to add plethora of spices to bring more flavor, aroma and health benefits to the recipe, so here is my version! In the video, I really wanted to spend time talking about the benefits of these ingredients, and how they help prevent or reverse cancer plus other diseases related to inflammation. When you see a video, you are getting a lot of value for your 10-mins of time - you not only get a delicious, amazing recipe but you also are getting wisdom on what ingredients to use and why, as in how they helped me prevent cancer from coming back plus how they will help you stay healthy. I talk a lot about the importance of using garlic and onions in this recipe video and this is because, all my recipes have lot of onions and garlic, so I wanted to explain the science and my reasoning behind it.
