This plum chutney is made with black seeds, fennel, tamarind & few spices. This plum chutney can be paired with bread, wrap, rice, etc.
Every summer, I love to eat plums so the idea for the plum chutney was no surprise to me. I wanted to make plum chutney with a Indian twist because that was hard to find online and it would be a lovely surprise for my subscribers.
My plum chutney came out little too tart so here are some notes - 1. Chat masala - I added another teaspoon of chat masala at the end so that balanced the tartness even better. 2. Sea salt - I also added another teaspoon of sea salt and that also helped balance the spices, the tartness and the salt as well because for me at least, it was lacking in the chutney.

Im making this right now… how much deggi mirch? The printed version doesn’t give the amount, so I added under one teaspoon since I’m a spicy wimp…
