Tawa Bread Pizza Recipe

​Enjoy this tasty and super healthy bread pizza that you can make anytime at home and takes only 10 mins! This recipe is weight-friendly. 

I love this recipe! When pizza came out in India, it was (and still is) very expensive for lower and middle class. Plus, Indian moms didn't want to feed all that American junk to their kids. It wasn't until Pizza Hut and Dominos came in India that pizza became more mainstream in the North.

But until then, pizza was NOT popular or easily found in our cuisine (and culture) that has always cherished healthy, vegetarian meals made with cancer fighting spices and herbs even when dining out. 

Since Indian moms didn't want to feed the typical American pizza to their kids, they came up with this homemade recipe that is super healthy, light and full of fresh veggies! 

You can layer any veggies of your choice - you can add some (pre-boiled and drained) cauliflower or broccoli, zucchini, carrots, squash, pineapple, etc. 

Also, in this recipe I chose plant-based parmesan but you can also go with plant-based mozzarella - perhaps I will make another recipe with that..:)
