In Tantra, it is all about deepening our connection with our partner by bringing in more meaning to our intimacy with each other. Here are 7 tips for deeper intimacy.
Tantric sex comes from the esoteric tradition of Tantra - the birth child of Hinduism and Buddhism and one that developed in India around the 1st century. In Tantra, sex is considered sacred - more of a ritual to go into deeper awareness and spirituality. Mindfulness is key number one in Tantric sex - far away from the toxic, cheap and fake culture of modern day bang-bang!

Because in Tantric sex, partners are encouraged to connect deeply with each other, it only makes sense to consider foreplay and sex as a sacred ritual - one that allows both the partners to bring meaning, awareness and spirituality to their encounter with each other.

In Tantra, the ultimate goal of sex is NOT orgasm - it is to deepen the connection with your lover. This is the reason why in Tantra it is highly advised to 'rotate' your sexual energy upwards - enriching and lighting the other chakras and in turn, helping to prolong your intimacy time with your partner.

Did You Know?! - Sexual energy is considered to be of the highest order and when used rightfully, it can bring you true long lasting love, enhance your creative powers, manifest your dreams, create true intimacy with your partner, and take you to higher dimensions of spirituality - in short, it is your life force that connects you to your Soul and it's higher callings.

When used improperly, it can destroy you to dust - creating dilemmas, toxic dark relationships, low vibrational lovers/sexual partners, fear (& lack) of intimacy in relationships, block of creativity, block of emotional and mental connection with your partner/spouse, loss of dreams and motivation, loss of 'Self' and one's true identity and toxic behavior patterns.

So, how can one enhance their sexual encounter with their partner into a deeper, more meaningful sacred union? Let's see what 7 tips you can apply to your love life to foster that soulful sensual experience with your partner.

Tip #1 - Setting The Intention Right
(Meditation, Incense, Clean Space & Words of Love)

To enjoy your sexual encounter with your partner, it is important to first get into the relaxed energy. In Tantra, it is highly advised to begin the intimacy with deep breathing exercises, doing some meditation to bring your focus back to the present moment and to start relaxing your mind and body.

Put some clean sheets, light some incense and say some words of love and appreciation to your partner (and let them say the same to you) and then onto the next tip...

Tip #2 - Touching & Caressing - "Feather-Like Touch"

Ooh la la! Nothing compares to touching and caressing each other's divine bodies and that too, for an extended period of time as that is one way to convey your love for your partner's body. Start with what's called a "feather-like touch" - light touches and caresses that bring in the sensual, loving sensations all over your partner's body but not too arousing either. Continue with touching the entire body - take your time to caress each and every corner of your partner's body

Tip #3 - Soulful Embrace & Deep Eye-Gazing

Start with breathing deeply to bring your attention away from your mind and into your body. This will also help you both relax and calm your mind and body as this is the key to experiencing heightened, longer states of pleasure. Stare in each other's eyes and hold eye contact for some time. Put your hand on each other's heart center and see what your lover's Soul is trying to tell you at this moment. Stay in this position for a few good minutes until you both feel deeply connected to each other on an energetic level.

Tip #4 - Yab-Yum Position in Tantra

Tibetan term that means "father-mother" in which two Buddhas are sitting together, wrapped in each other's arms and legs crossed to bring in each other closer while both of their sexual organs are touching and their entire body is wrapped in each other's full embrace.

In this famous Tantric position, the female sits on the male's lap with her legs crossed from behind him - in Tibetan Buddhism, the masculine represents the compassion, being active and skillful (upaya) while the feminine represents the insight (intuition), wisdom (prajna) and passiveness - all together meant to lead towards enlightenment.

In the Yab-Yum position, both partners are facing each other and representing the beautiful energies of the male God Shiva (the masculine) and the Goddess Shakti (the feminine). The main goal of this position is to connect both partners heart-to-heart and into their emotional energetic selves versus the intellect self that often separates us and brings disharmony and distance between us and our partners.

Tip #5 - Massage for Sensual Touch & Arousal

Starting an intimate session with your loved one with a massage can be the key to heightened arousal and deeper, loving connection.

While massaging your partner, keep all distractions away (cellphones, tv, games, etc.) and give all your love and attention to your partner - thus allowing space for the heart chakra to feel safe and open up and therefore initiating and inviting more vulnerable and deeper meaningful conversations between both the partners during the massage.

Create The Ambience - Close the lights, have some clean sheets, some warm towels while lighting some candles and playing some sensual music will add greatly to the experience of the massage, specially foot massage for your Beloved.💖

Have your sensual oils ready - Applying some warm sensual oil blend will boost blood circulation to the whole body, thus allowing for a feel of whole-body orgasm.

Tip #6 - Rotate Foreplay Time Between Each Other

Do foreplay one at a time to stretch your intimacy session with each other. You can give your partner some foreplay at first and then your partner can give you some foreplay. Try to stay away from getting full orgasm as that will rush and end your intimacy time with your partner - light and longer foreplay is much better than one that is rushed and ends up in the ultimate 'O'.

Tip #7 - Slow Down The Sex Speed

A Tip from the Tantric sex educator Psalm Isadora is to slow the speed during sex.

ast but not least, if you and your partner get too aroused and would like to still prolong it, you can adjust the speed of sex - going slower or even pulling out when it gets too close to orgasm is the key. This will help men to last longer and enjoy longer intimacy in turn. For women also, this will create much more sexual tension and excitement - thus bringing in more pleasure and connection with their partners.

I hope these tips bring you and your partner deeper connection and longer intimacy with each other.
