Who doesn't love basil pesto? It is one of my favorite and I just love the aroma, the flavor, that comes from mixing basil and garlic together and of course, the creaminess. In my recipe, I used a lot of basil because if you want to prevent or heal any disease - be it cancer or any underlying inflammation, then you must learn to take a good amount of herbs in your diet. Adding them just for flavor isn't the thought anymore - you really need to consciously increase the quantity of herbs in your recipes if you want to prevent any disease, and the best part? It also adds more flavor and texture to the dishes. Now that you know what's the concept here in this recipe, let's start. Why wait for such goodness? Ingredients - 1. Large/medium organic onion - 2 2. Organic basil - 5 oz. 3. Walnuts - see video for quantity or per choice. 4. Organic tomatoes - 2 5. Garlic - 2 6. Fresh or chopped frozen spinach - 16 oz. Spices & oils - 1. Organic, UN-refined coconut oil - 4 Tablespoons 2. Organic Sea salt - per taste. Add less first, you can always adjust later. 3. Cayenne - per taste. Add less first, you can always adjust later. So, if you don't know, start with 1/4 teaspoon. 4. Black pepper Pasta - 1. Jovial organic gluten-free pasta Top with - 1. Organic olive oil 2.
