5-mins chutney recipe w/cilantro & fresh mint along with some cumin seeds. This recipe goes with everything and you are sure to love!
THE quintessential chutney! This is perhaps THE chutney of India - call it the queen of all chutneys as no other recipe is more loved than this one when it comes to chutneys. And the best part? It is just a 5-min recipe, where you just throw in all the ingredients and blend! That's it.

If basil pesto is THE pesto of the pesto world, then take it from an Indian, that this is THE crown winner of the chutney world. Similar to basil pesto, it is quick, raw and well, hardly any clean-up - just use the blender or food processor and you are done! Here are the ingredients...

Ingredients -

1. Organic fresh cilantro - 2 bunch
2. Organic mint - 1
3. Green chili/Serrano pepper - 1
4. Organic Himalayan sea salt
5. Organic cumin seeds
6. Lemon juice - fresh 1/2 squeezed
7. Ginger - 1 in or look below in pics and video (can adjust later)
8. Garlic - 1 whole

This is it! Very simple list!

Simple steps -

Watch the video/pics for step-by-step recipe and exact measurements.

And do remember to share this with your loved ones too! Enjoy!

Just noticed - garlic is missing from ingredients list. (Looks like you love garlic as much as I do!)

No problem!
When all was said and done, I had something that smells and tastes like HUGE potential.
But I have one piece of advice for anyone making this dish: Do not use a Vitamix -- this is definitely a food processor type of recipe! I couldn't get the damper down far enough to prevent having to process too long, until it became soggy. Also, when all was done, I found a piece of garlic untouched. And the cumin didn't combine as well as it should have.
I did add some wild garlic I found growing in my garden recently (December in Westchester, NY! egad) and that added an interesting extra taste.
Will have to get the food processor out of the apartment storage and try it again. Will let folks know how that works out.
