Do u use uncooked or cooked makhana? Any idea whether 2 cups is same as 7 or 14 ounces?

This is uncooked - like I just took it out of the packet and then made this recipe. So, you will take a pan, add oil and then directly add makhana from your packet to the pan...and so on..

Ups! I meant like total quantity that I added seemed like between 8-10 oz. from what I could estimate.
