What a great idea, for these flour-like grains for porridge - to make a slurry first! I’ve always struggled with lumpy corn meal porridge (or amaranth or teff or mesquite - I could go on!), and making a slurry first is the perfect way to ease your grain into its marriage with water!! Thank you so much, and I’ve just bought ragi flour at our local Indian grocery, so here goes my next wonderful recipe from this website!!!

Thank you so much Pamela! You are so sweet! And yes to making slurry first - this recipe is very light, warm porridge - perfect for this season. I have more ragi recipes coming out so (unlike clay pot - ahem! 😀😍), your ragi flour will not go wasted. hehehe 😍 Love & hugs, Somya.
