Red lentils cooked w/turmeric & spicy tempering for restaurant style taste. Made w/powerful black seeds, this is one recipe you will love!
Tadka is a kind of tempering used to make lentils/beans/curries more tasty and healthy. It's an Ayurvedic concept - one that enhances digestion as well as body's healing capacity due to the influence of savory seeds, garlic, spices and herbs in it. The oil in the tadka is used by the body to transfer spices into the cells and use the spices for their healing properties.
