Tadka is a kind of tempering used to make lentils/beans/curries more tasty and healthy. It's an Ayurvedic concept - one that enhances digestion as well as body's healing capacity due to the influence of ginger, garlic, spices and herbs in it. The oil in the tadka is used by the body to transfer spices into the cells and use the spices for their healing properties. Now, I put LOT of ginger-garlic in ALL my recipes that call for the combo. I truly advice all that to have good health, increase immunity, prevent cancer & such diseases, to start adding these two in every possible dish of yours. And we are not kids anymore - so, yes! add a bit more each time. Don't be lazy - peel that extra garlic cloves and ginger root. And then add. And eat. For cancer patients too - anyone recovering from cancer, fear not. These two (ginger-garlic), along with all other ingredients in this tadka are powerful healers. Increase the quantity that goes in the body - you are not eating all of this in one bite or one time. So, make sure, each bite you take includes enough of healing power so that it can go in the body and do its work. What are the benefits of my tadka? Why did I 'design' this? Read on...
